The Lancaster City Housing Authority is pleased to welcome Michelle Vega to our team as Resident Selection Specialist. Michelle joined LCHA in May 2026, bringing a wealth of experience in community-focused service and program coordination.

Michelle comes to LCHA from Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County, where she spent years making a meaningful impact across the region. In her role there, she served as a Special Projects Coordinator and Retail Store Coordinator, overseeing operations and training for 45 retail locations throughout Lancaster County. Among her most notable contributions was her work on WIC on Wheels — a mobile clinic initiative that brought vital nutrition services directly into the community. She also led staff trainings and provided technical and customer support for the WIC program, helping ensure that families across Lancaster County could access vital resources.

As Resident Selection Specialist, Michelle will play a key part in guiding prospective residents through LCHA’s housing programs with professionalism and care. Those who know Michelle describe her as deeply empathetic, someone who genuinely invests in the people she serves.

Outside of work, Michelle treasures spending time with her family, tending to her houseplant collection, and reading. Please join us in welcoming Michelle to the LCHA!

The Lancaster City Housing Authority is pleased to welcome Daidy “Dee” Gonzalez to our team as Receptionist. Dee joined LCHA in May 2026, and if you’ve had the chance to visit our Central Office, you’ve likely already experienced the energy she brings to every interaction.

Dee comes to LCHA with a rich background in hospitality and customer service. She previously served as a Manager at the Fairfield by Marriott on Lincoln Highway, a role that carried extraordinary responsibility during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the hotel operated as a first responder hotel. Managing operations during that period was no small feat, and the experience gave Dee a resilience and perspective that she carries with her today. Dee also gained front-office experience at Lancaster Dental Arts, where she further sharpened her skills in reception and patient relations.

As Receptionist, Dee serves as the first point of contact for residents and visitors to our Central Office. Her passion for customer service, outgoing personality, and her natural ability to make people feel welcome make her a tremendous asset to both staff and our community.

Outside of work, Dee is a creative at heart. She has a passion for costume design and is an avid participant in Zenkaikon, Lancaster’s annual anime and gaming convention. Welcome to Team LCHA, Dee!
