Lancaster City Housing Authority is proud to announce that Charday Wooten has been awarded the Paul G. Percherk Memorial Scholarship. Sponsored by the Lancaster City Housing Authority, Charday received the scholarship at the 38th Annual PAHRA Conference, a momentous occasion in her academic journey.
Charday is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing at the PA College of Health Services. As a single mother, she deeply understands the value of perseverance and the drive to create a brighter future for herself and her son. “Each day, I make purposeful progress toward my goals, staying focused and motivated on my journey,” she shares.
Charday’s aspirations extend beyond her education. She is committed to contributing to her community by providing compassionate healthcare, supporting individuals in their time of need, and guiding them back to wellness. Additionally, Charday’s entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well, with exciting plans in the works that are sure to inspire.
