Church Street Towers Facade Restoration

The Lancaster City Housing Authority (LCHA) has started a major restoration project at Church Street Towers. The $5 million project will repair and strengthen the building’s brick façade, replace windows and roofing, and fix areas where water infiltration has caused building damage. These improvements will help keep the building safe, energy-efficient, and comfortable for residents for many years to come.

“We’re committed to keeping our residents safe and informed while this important work is being done,” said Barbara Wilson, Executive Director of LCHA. “Thank you to everyone at Church Street Towers for your patience as we move through this process.”

The project is made possible through funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Keystruct Construction will lead the project, which is expected to take 12 months to complete. This work is part of LCHA’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve our affordable housing units across Lancaster City, ensuring every resident has a safe, stable, and dignified place to call home.
